Built for horse people. Built because we needed it ourselves.
Cavvyo is an independently owned equine auction marketplace created to make buying more convenient, selling more far-reaching, and online horse sales more accountable.
WHERE IT STARTED
Cavvyo started in an auction arena.
We spent most of a day sitting in a horse auction with three children, waiting for the two horses we hoped to bring home. When the sale was over, we had lost out on both of them. The experience made something obvious: there had to be a better way to buy a horse without giving up an entire day just to be in the room.
It also exposed the other side of the problem. A seller should not have to depend on the number of people who can physically attend one auction on one day. A great horse deserves the opportunity to be seen by qualified buyers far beyond a local arena.
That became the idea behind Cavvyo: preserve the excitement and price discovery of an auction, but move the experience online so buyers can participate from home or the barn and sellers can reach a much larger market.

BUILT DIFFERENTLY
We built the auction platform we wanted to use.
Cavvyo is not a generic auction template with a horse logo added to it. Our timed auction engine and marketplace workflow were designed from the ground up around equine sales.
Accountability built in
Buyer readiness, identity checks, seller review and a connected transaction record reduce anonymous marketplace activity and give Cavvyo tools to respond when something does not look right.
A larger market
Sellers are no longer limited to whoever can attend one live sale. Cavvyo gives qualified buyers a way to discover and compete for horses from wherever they are.
Personal from the beginning.
Cavvyo grew out of our own life with horses. The company is independently founded and owned by Dylan Hastings, and the reason horses became part of that life begins with Ashley.

Dylan Hastings
Dylan founded Cavvyo and led the design of the platform around a simple idea: equine auctions can be modern and convenient without giving up the trust, transparency and human connection horse people expect.
PARTNER IN LIFE & THE CAVVYO STORY
Ashley Bessette
Ashley is Dylan's fiancée and the reason the equestrian lifestyle became part of their family. She introduced Dylan to horses, and that shared life ultimately led to the experience and perspective that created Cavvyo.
King, Dunkin & Eddy
At home, Dylan and Ashley share life with their horses King and Dunkin and their miniature donkey, Eddy. Cavvyo is being built by people who genuinely live the equestrian lifestyle—not a software company searching for another category.
